Release of Liability

The person agreeing to this form has made a voluntary request to take part in live fire training with Trident Firearms Academy, LLC.

This agreeing individual acknowledges that the activity of firing a weapon can be inherently dangerous and involves possible risks of injury, death, and damage, or loss to person and property. The agreeing individual further understands said risks and voluntarily assumes all said inherent risks, whether or not they are listed herein.

Trident Firearms Academy, LLC instructor(s) who have agreed to provide this training are all certified firearms instructors with California POST and/or the NRA and will take every conceivable precaution in providing said training in a safe and healthy environment.

In consideration of the agreeing individual’s participation in the training with Trident Firearms Academy, LLC, that is the subject of this agreement, the agreeing individual hereby releases Trident Firearms Academy, LLC, and the host range, their officers, agents, employees, and volunteers, from all liability arising out of said participation. The agreeing individual hereby voluntarily releases, discharges, waives, and relinquishes all actions or causes of action for personal injury, wrongful death, or damage to property or person, occurring to them, arising because of participation in said activity.

The person agreeing to this Release of Liability further states that they may legally be in possession of a firearm for this training, in compliance with state and federal law.

IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE AGREEING INDIVIDUAL BY THIS INSTRUMENT TO EXEMPT AND RELIEVE THE ABOVE-NAMED PARTIES FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, DAMAGE, AND EXPENSE OF LOSS TO PERSON OR PROPERTY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE.

Any agreeing individual acknowledges that he or she has read the foregoing six paragraphs, and is fully and completely aware of the potential dangers incidental to participating in the program and is aware of the legal consequences of check marking the “I have read and agree to the Release of Liability” box associated with this form.
