You can own the finest weapons, the most advanced gear, and enough equipment to outfit an army—but without the training to use it, you’re still a liability. Gear doesn’t make the warrior. Skill, discipline, and preparation do. Without them, you can die on day one wearing a million dollars’ worth of equipment.

When the time to perform arrives, the time to prepare has passed!
Fighting Shotgun
One day class – 8 Hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) Manteca Sportsmen’s, Inc – 30261 Airport Way, Manteca, CA, 95337
Prerequisites: Students must be able to demonstrate safe firearm handling and possess a working knowledge of their shotgun platform. Prior completion of a basic shotgun course or equivalent experience is strongly recommended.
Course Description: The Trident Firearms Academy Fighting Shotgun course is an intensive one day, eight hour class designed to teach students how to effectively employ a modern defensive shotgun in realistic defensive situations. This course emphasizes safe gun handling, efficient weapon manipulation, recoil management, movement, use of cover, target transitions, and problem-solving under stress.
Students will also learn how and when to transition from the shotgun to a handgun when the shotgun becomes inoperable, runs empty, or the situation demands a faster response. While the primary focus is on the fighting shotgun, handgun skills will reinforce the concept of maintaining a working firearm throughout an engagement.
